About

The ITA is a small learning community that integrate core academic classes with technology-based courses in essential information technologies training that forms the basis for success in a broad field of college and career pursuits. Students in the ITA are taught by a team of teachers.  This allows the school staff to keep better track of the students’ progress and difficulties. The ITA teachers meet each week to discuss student progress. The teachers also work together to stay in contact with parents and give them information on their child.

Another aspect of the ITA program is student development. As an active participant in their own education, they will have to negotiate their work schedule, choose how to divide up tasks in a project, and decide when to meet with other students. The ITA teachers will be there to give the student successful strategies and structures for all these decisions and responsibilities. Being part of this academy will help prepare students for the “real world” after you graduate.
