College and Career Event at Kennedy
On Friday, January 22nd, the IT Academy at Kennedy High in conjunction with the English department will be hosting the 3rd Annual school wide College and Career Day at the “K”.
We will have speakers from the business community covering technology, medical, and law plus more. We will also have speakers from the educational field presenting to all the classes. The students will learn what they need to get into a 4 year college versus a 2 year; how to create a resume, the importance of education now and later; what is expected on a job interview and much, much more.
This is a great opportunity for our students to prepare themselves for their future.
