KENNEDY HIGH ITA INVADE MICROSOFT

The Kennedy IT Academy attended the Microsoft Annual Minority Student Day. Microsoft hosts this event every year to support and encourage students from any minority background into a career related to technology. Microsoft hopes to inspire students to understand various avenues that they can pursue in the technology field.

This is the 3rd year that Kennedy IT Academy has attended this event and every year the students return with so much information and life lessons that they can use in their future. Each year the students have to prepare to attend this field trip. This year the students prepared their resumes and participated in mock interviews. They were given valuable help with resume writing and how to sell themselves on job interviews.
