Kennedy’s Chevron Event
Kennedy ITA students participated in the innovative Junior Achievement Social Innovation Camp at Richmond Memorial Auditorium in October.
Chevron partners with Junior Achievement to bring students from the information technology & engineering academies to participate in this
one-day event.
The students pick a community issue and they present their solutions in front of a panel of professional judges. They must come up with
viable solutions to problems in their community. They also needed to show how their solution could become sustainable in a company.
Kennedy High ITA student, Angel Miranda (pictured here) won 1st place and Salvadore Navarro won 3rd place. Great Job!!
