Melody Shah brings more than a decade of professional design experience to her teaching. She has worked in web, print, fashion, book, and industrial design for large corporate clients, small businesses, organizations and individuals. Mrs. Shah earned a BFA in Art Media Studies from Syracuse University as well as a Masters degree in Industrial Arts from San Francisco State . She is an independent film maker, most recently creating a short documentary about canyoneering. Much of her creative inspiration comes from adventure. While not in front of the classroom, she can be found flying a paraglider, clinging to a cliff, zipping down a rope, jumping over a waterfall, or climbing a steep trail.
