Thank You Kanik Sem and Enrique Jenkins

Information Technology Academy wants to thank Kanik Sem, Financial analyst at Amazon for coming to answer questions ranging from what a financial analyst does, where Amazon affiliates are located, and what employees are required to do when packages are not properly delivered.

Thank you to Enrique Jenkins, Head of IT at Doordash for taking time out of his  busy day to speak to the IT Academy students. Mr. Jenkins answered students’ questions about precautions during the pandemic, the pricing and trustworthiness of DoorDash, as well as how one becomes a head of Information Technology at an institution.

In the last session they didn’t get to ask much questions but the speaker expressed the concern of women in the tech field and the challenges they face once they are there. It was commemorating Women’s History Month.
